Pastor Rev. Wilson Koppula & Mrs. Mary Koppula

Pastor Profile
Reverend Wilson Koppula was born in Shamshabad, Andhra Pradesh, India. He accepted Christ while in
his first year at Osmania University in India (B.S. in Science and
Education). He taught for some time in India, then met and married his
wife, Mary. Together they taught in Nigeria,
West Africa for five years, after which they moved to Canada to attend Bible college.
In
1990 Pastor Koppula completed his Master of Divinity degree from Western
Baptist Seminary (USA). Mary did one year Bachelor of Theology, specializing in
Spiritual Formation. He and his wife served full time in the Bay Area of
California reaching out to South Asians from 1987 to 1995.
In 1995 Pastor Koppula
moved to Turlock to minister to the South Asian
immigrant community in the Central Valley. During
his time in Turlock he founded the India Friendship Center and planted a church in Modesto.
Pastor Koppula
has traveled around the world to mission conferences and churches sharing his
passion for preaching the gospel to South Asian communities. Pastor Koppula and
his wife have three college going daughters. As of May 2009, Pastor Koppula is
giving pastoral care to our church.
